my friend come to me and tell me if I can help him.
He try to update firmware in his radio but it stop dufing upgrading and there is only black screen
I try to put it in car but it didn´t start . only black screen . button is black too no light behind it.
Fuse on back side of radio is OK

it is 1t0 035 680
HW:H74
SW:0520

can anybody help me with it? or He can just throw to trash ?

Do not threw it away. The only way to solve this problem is to change the mainboard or find someone who can repair. Pay attention to the firmware.

I told him that FW can demage it. he don´t belive me.
Bud I dont know how FW can demage motherboard

It is the same like Bios-Update: if this update aborted the motherboard is broken.
