I have RNS with dab . Whnen I install new FW inside 52xx than I can see in menu only AM and FM but no DAB.
What I need to do ?

and how it is with coding of DAB?

00 DAB on EU Band III (-N) + L-Band*
01 DAB on EU Band III + L-Band*
02 DAB on EU Band III (-N)*
03 DAB on EU Band III*
*Die Codierungen haben nur Einfluss bei DAB-Varianten. Bei non DAB Geräten ist 00 zu codieren!

so What I need to coding ? 00 or what?

Which software was original on the RNS? How is the original part number?

original was 4120 I think but not sure.
but on back side of radio is DAB antena plugs.

now I update to 52xx

Possibly its Sirius antenna plug. If Original DAB-Device is normally 5218 or 5238 installed. And if you have no DAB in Menu you have definitively no DAB.Device. Tell us as dakar says the original part number:)

Engine whis DAB 1T0 035 686, engine whisout DAB 1T0 035 680.

but question is why non DAB unit will have on back side of radio plug for GPS, for FM+AM antena and DAB antena. together 3 plugs (one double as is standard antena ) ?

you have to check the hardware part number with either VAS or VCDS. but either way, you most certainly have a NON-DAB device. the FM/AM/DAB was only shown on older firmwares, and if you had 4120 on it, it also can't be a DAB-device. believe it.

the non-DAB devices have no DAB-plug on the back. if you provide a photo of your device's backside, we can tell you what everything is.
