Black Ops Project Manager

Office Team | San Francisco, CA

Dropbox is the home for your most important stuff—now we're bringing it to life with a growing family of products. As we scale our global brand, there’s plenty of space for you to grow alongside us and simplify life for millions of people around the world.

While Dropbox prides itself on shipping elegant products that 'just work' to our users, we aspire to do the same for our employees.

To date, we've done this with the creation of a team called Black ops, a self-guided team that connects and inspires Dropboxers by harnessing internal communication, design, and social engineering. Our work perpetuates Dropbox's mission and values, but our focus lies in celebration and service of the folks we work with every day...

and with project management, you'd be translating this intangible charter into tangible results. Working with 'clients' around Dropbox, you'll generate ideas, stratify them with a project plan, then work with vendors et al to execute them to completion. Meanwhile, you'll keep Black ops responsive, personal, (and within budget) often in lieu of preposterous deadlines and asks. Meanwhile, you'll also build and maintain systems and processes that makes all this possible.

Why's this important? So many details go into making the incredible experiences and objects within our offices — and the more efficiently we can go about them, better we can make our company and the products that ship out of it.
