Our communications team brings the Dropbox story to life for our growing user base and diverse, international audiences. Partnering with teams across the company, we build compelling narratives to share our product, brand, and vision with the world.

We’re looking for a communications expert to create narratives for our business and consumer products that help the world connect with the Dropbox brand and understand the role Dropbox plays for both individuals and businesses. Additionally, this individual will play a critical role in translating the ins-and-outs of the product into tangible takeaways for the company and users. This position will work closely with our marketing and product teams to craft compelling stories about Dropbox and execute on strategies to bring these stories to life.

Responsibilities

  • Drive creative campaigns to increase awareness of and regard for Dropbox for Business and Dropbox Pro products
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and refine the Dropbox brand messaging and identify key customers, develop metrics, and tell stories that effectively articulate this
  • Partner with product teams to amplify impact of new product features and launches
  • Plan and execute communications strategies and product launches for consumer and enterprise markets
  • Develop media pitches, generate media coverage and cultivate Dropbox relationships with media outlets
  • Manage external agency relationships

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of communications/PR experience, ideally in both agency and in-house tech company settings
  • Experience with and passion for growing and promoting tech brands with a deep understanding of the tech industry landscape
  • Established relationships with industry media contacts and demonstrated success with enterprise media relations
  • Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Analytical problem-solver with exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, flexibility and sense of humor
