We’re looking for someone to lead the global HRBP team, reporting to the VP of People. In People Ops, we use an analytical, data-driven approach to solve problems, build programs, and help Dropboxers constantly improve upon how they work. In this role, you’ll oversee the team that partners with business and technology teams to ensure Dropboxers are innovating at their peak, leading teams and managing their amazing people. You will play a key role in helping your team and the senior leaders leads think strategically about people in a quest to build high-performing teams. You’ll also take the lead on coaching and developing Dropboxers, helping them navigate both the company and careers. You’ll be responsible for championing the culture and making sure Dropboxers are energized and having fun.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the global HRBP team, which is responsible for handling all people-related strategies, programs, initiatives, and challenges for all clients from the business to engineering
  • Be the "voice" of HR to Dropbox senior leadership - lead Dropbox teams through all people issues and people programs (compensation, talent development, performance, etc.)
  • Advise leadership on people-related strategy and decisions (including organizational design, planning, and compensation)
  • Oversee and build a global HRBP team, providing coaching, feedback and problem solving when needed. Build on an already great team and make sure it is fun!
  • Collaborate within People Ops Central teams to develop client-focused, company-wide strategies and programs based on data insights and organization and performance research and best practices

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in HR - ideally as a business partner, and/or a central function that has high client engagement/interaction
  • Strong understanding of various compensation models that drive business and technical results
  • A strong desire to help others and an intellectual curiosity about people and organizational issues
  • Ability and proven experience in communicating, influencing and listening to client and their needs at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in managing HR in various markets throughout the globe.
  • Understanding of employment law and ability to handle employee relations issues, working with relevant internal and external partners
  • Ability to manage and develop a team
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently
  • Analytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis
  • Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to balance client need with running an HR organization at scale

  • BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred
