Dropbox is growing rapidly – both in the US and internationally, with engineers around the world. As an infrastructure Product Manager, you will work closely with infrastructure engineering teams to understand critical workflows, and build roadmaps that ensure our infrastructure, like the Dropbox product itself, "just works." This is becoming increasingly important as our infrastructure becomes more complex, and is critical to the future success of the company!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage product roadmap for one or more infrastructure products, working closely with developers
  • Focus on building simple, high quality products that “just work”
  • Develop product specs with input from cross-functional stakeholders including infrastructure and product engineering teams
  • Understand competitive dynamics and maintain a current market analysis
  • Work with other internal Dropbox infrastructure and product teams to drive strategy

Requirements

  • Technical Background: 3+ years of product management or development experience and hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure
  • Ability to clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize enhancement requests
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Execution and resourcefulness: You focus on what’s important and make it happen
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience
