It's the job of a Product Manager in Dropbox for Business to deeply understand users and administrators the context of their work-life to drive product innovation: empowering people to stay in sync and work better together.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep understanding and empathy for end-users and administrators of Dropbox for Business; driving product advancements large and small that effortlessly empower and delight our users
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful Dropbox for Business features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity and tracking progress of in-flight projects
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, customers and technology partners to deeply understand, document, analyze and synthesize customer needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
  • Process, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on customer usage patterns to uncover new product insights
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams
  • Help build a world-class team to capitalize on the vast potential of Dropbox

Requirements

  • BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar experience
  • 2 years or more experience as a Product Manager
  • 2 years or more experience as a Software Engineer or similar
  • Experience with a variety of software development methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail, with demonstrable abilities in interaction design, rapid prototyping and user research
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret and present data
  • Deep understanding of and empathy for users
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
