The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the global accounts receivable process including financial reporting. This person will manage customer accounts by working directly with finance, sales and user operations as well as develop scalable processes as Dropbox continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Manage global accounts receivable balances and collection efforts for Dropbox
- Own month end close processes including account reconciliations and dashboard reporting to Global Controller
- Develop expertise at all levels of credit, collections and cash apps
- Monitor and maintain lockboxes for all domestic and international bank accounts
- Coordinate with User Operations to ensure the accuracy of customer records
- Assist with technology implementation, including project planning and management.
- Complete ad hoc projects that require data mining and analytical skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
- 1-2 years' experience, preferably at a reputable regional accounting firm or a Big Four accounting firm
- Execution-focused and detail-oriented with great organizational skills, but comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience working in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet numerous deadlines
