How do I allow only one Dropbox per computer?

If you don’t want your team members to access both a personal Dropbox and a work Dropbox on the desktop application, you can decide to allow only a single account on each computer.

Allow only a single Dropbox on each computer

  1. Sign in to the Dropbox website with your admin account.
  2. Click on Admin Console in the sidebar on the left.
  3. Navigate to the Authentication tab.
  4. Check the box that says Allow only one Dropbox account per computer.

If a team member has already signed in to both a personal Dropbox and work Dropbox, and you subsequently allow only a single Dropbox, whichever account was signed in to second will be unlinked from the member's desktop. The account that was signed in to first will remain linked to the desktop. Team members will still be able to access both accounts via the website and the Dropbox mobile app.
