How do shared folder permissions work with the team sharing options that my admin has set?
The shared folder permissions work in combination with the team sharing options that are built in to Dropbox for Business. Settings that your Dropbox for Business admin has set up for your team will apply to the individual permissions for members of shared folders. For example, if your team's admin has chosen not to allow team members to share folders outside of the team, you won't be able to share the folder with somebody outside the team, even if you're the shared folder owner or an editor.
