Different ways to share
Files start out private on Dropbox for Business, but it’s easy to share files when you want to. You can collaborate on documents, share information across your team, or send out a file to a client with our three ways to share:
Share a folder
Working together just got a lot easier. Choose specific colleagues to collaborate with by sharing a folder with them, and watch edits sync almost instantly across the group. By default, anyone you invite to your shared folder can edit, add, and delete files in the folder. If you're concerned about people making unwanted changes, you can set view-only permissions for some or all members of the folder. Dropbox for Business users can also choose whether members can share links to folder content with people outside the folder.

Team Folders can only be created by admins and are automatically shared with all members of your team. This makes sharing across your organization easier because you don’t have to invite each of your colleagues one at a time. Team folders can’t be shared externally, so they’re great for internal org-wide documents like training materials.

Links allow you to send out copies of files—they’re like an email attachment, but better. When you send someone a link, they can view and download a copy of your file, but they can’t change your copy. You can share links with anyone—even if they don’t have Dropbox—and there’s no file size limit. You can set links to remain internal to your team, and you can break them any time if you no longer want the file to be available. You can also control who has access and for how long by setting passwords and expirations for your links.
