Our sales team shares Dropbox with businesses of all sizes around the world and helps them understand the power Dropbox offers to teams at scale. We're a collaborative and empathetic sales team, focused on understanding what businesses need to work better together.

The education industry represents a key market for Dropbox for Business and is already one of the top verticals for Dropbox. Some of the most recognized colleges and universities in the world, school districts, and primary schools already have meaningful numbers of Dropbox users who rely on the service to be more productive. We are looking for experienced Account Executives to help us take our education success to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Dropbox for Business to the education industry- with special emphasis on the college and university and school district segments
  • Full-cycle sales with responsibility for building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective and current customer deals
  • Drive market awareness and cultivate a well-respected brand across the education industry for Dropbox for Business
  • Help build the vertical business case and achieve quarterly forecasts for Education initiatives, pipeline development, sales
  • Target new customers and to develop strong relationships with clients in the education industry, with particular emphasis on the college market, large school districts, and international institutions
  • Evaluate opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, sales, and retention within a book of business
  • Deliver product demos, provide insightful technical answers, and recommend creative ways to get the most out of Dropbox for Business
  • Work cross-functionally with Lead Generation, Account Management, and Solutions Architecture teams
  • Be the voice of the customer to the product team
  • Help scale processes including lead generation, presentation, negotiation, recruiting, and more
  • Find comfort in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead by example through perseverance, humility, and initiative
  • Delight every Dropbox user with each interaction
  • Believe no task is too small, and no task is too tall

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in the education vertical
  • Avid Dropbox user
  • Top performer in previous roles
  • Prior experience at Internet or SaaS companies is a major plus
  • Passionate about revolutionizing the way people collaborate
  • US work authorization
